The Media Frame Engineâ„¢ provides an extensive low level SDK for expanding the core functionality of the system as well as high level scripting and ActiveX controls for remote control over the system to automate it's functionality and to easily build front end applications for various end user experiences.

The SDK includes the following:

  • Libraries
  • Video Viewer ActiveX Control
  • File System/Database COM Control
  • Core Communication COM Control

Low Level SDK

The low level SDK allows developers to expand the core functionality of the Media Frame Engineâ„¢. The following diagram shows the major areas of the system where developers are given hooks into the system.

Virtual Media Object

Allows development of reading and writing specific media types from and to disk.

Draw Object

Allows development of custom objects that manipulate the frames of video including but not limited to blending, filters, and full Open GL 2.1 manipulations .

Physical Device

Allows development of custom I/O interfaces as related to the Engine.

High Level SDK

The high level SDK gives developers simple access to controlling and interacting with the Media Frame Engineâ„¢ via COM objects, ActiveX Controls, and telnet access.
